European TWC qualifier announced
E-frag has revealed all the details about the European qualifying process for the World Championships.
Forty-five national teams from across Europe will be taking part in the European qualifiers for the World Championships, which will determine which eight countries will be represented at the global finals, in Belgrade, from October 8-11.
The participating nations have been seeded according to their results in the two editions of the E-Sports European Championships (ESEC), which were also hosted by E-frag.
ESEC 2014 winners France will skip the preliminary qualifying rounds
The 18 lowest ranked nations have been placed in the first preliminary qualifying round, which will run from Monday to Friday. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format.

The nine winners will then move on to qualifying round 2, in which they will be joined by 15 other nations, three of which are unseeded.

Finally, the 12 winners will join the highest-ranked nations in the European best-of-one group stage, which will feature four groups of six teams. The top four teams from each group will move on to the Round of 16 to determine the eight participants at the World Championship finals.
